  • The Arnold press is famous for worked the three heads of the deltoid (anterior delt, lateral delt, and posterior delt) simultaneously, making it a very effective movement. Arnold press also helps improve your posture, it can keep your muscles tense longer than standard presses.
  • The Arnold press works many muscles in the shoulder, but because of the rotation it requires, it may be a more risky exercise than a standard press if you have shoulder discomfort. Be careful not to increase the weight too much to get efficient results with Arnold press.
